Personal Rentals Policies

Personal rental is defined as any individual who rents an item(s) for their own personal use. For example, a business party, school function, etc.

 

Rental Period

• Rental (4 calendar days) All rental items kept past the 4-day period will be automatically charged a late fee of 10% of Rental Price per day up to 3 days, after which an additional full Rental Fee will be charged.

 

Payment Methods

All Rentals require a valid credit card (not debit) with signature on file to secure value of rented items (specified on Rental Agreement.) Payments in cash, check and valid Credit/Debit Cards are accepted for payment. VBJ reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any overdue fees, damages plus applicable service charge.

Alterations

Alterations are never allowed without written permission from VBJ. Iron-on bonding web, glue, super stick or any other type of permanent adhesives may NOT be used. Failure to return Costumes in their original condition will incur damage or replacement charges.

Cleaning Fee

For the safety of our costumes, we require that they are returned on the same hanger and original plastic bag as provided at time of rental, or a $10 fee will apply. though bulk cleaning is included in the Rental Price, a separate fee will be charged for visible soil, spots, heavy deodorant residue, etc. to be determined by VBJ.

Return Procedures

Costumes are to be returned with any and all hangers, bags, boxes or other items that were sent with the Rental.

Damaged or Lost Costumes

In the event of loss, theft or damage of any Costume, (normal wear and tear excluded) Customer shall be responsible for payment of the repair or replacement. Full replacement value equals 10 times the Rental price, unless otherwise specified by VBJ on the Rental Form. Damage includes but is not limited to broken zippers, detached garment pieces, make-up or other permanent stains or any other damage that renders the costume unfit for rental. Damages to costumes which cannot be reasonably repaired at the discretion of VBJ will be assessed at the replacement value of the costume. Such damages include, but are not limited to irreparable tears, major seam damage, damage from pins, or irreversible damage. If damage has occurred to a Costume, please contact VBJ.

Early/Late Open charges will apply when customers request these services.

 

Fittings may be scheduled by appointment only.
